Account Manager



The global Umbraco partner community which mainly consists of digital agencies has grown rapidly in the last year. The current demands from especially the Umbraco Gold Partners have increased so significantly that we are in the need of yet an Account Manager to help meet these demands as well as help extend the Umbraco partner community even more.

The Role
Together with our Salesdirector, you will help maintain and grow our circle of Umbraco partners in the EU. The job requires 30-50 travel days a year where you’ll be visiting both new and exciting partner agencies. Your day-to-day job will be done from the Umbraco HQ in Odense.

Key tasks:
  • Planning sales and partner activities
  • Growing the exciting partner network
  • Sell training/certification and Umbraco Cloud to existing partners
  • Assist partners with sales support
  • Updating and reporting in our CRM (Insightly)
  • Help develop the exciting partner programs

Your Qualifications
The most important qualification is your personality: Who you are, what values and attitudes you have and how you interact with and behave towards other people.

You have the right stuff if you:
  • Are a take-charge and friendly kind of person
  • Have the ability to think strategically on behalf of an agency
  • Speak and write fluent English and find it easy to negotiate in English
  • Are independent and self-driven
  • Are conscientious and proactive towards others
  • Are open and not afraid to pick up the phone to make contact

You are the ideal candidate if you:
  • Have a background from an agency and have experience from a similar position as, for example, an account manager, consultant, a freelancer or sales rep
  • Know how a typical digital agency work; how they approach clients and the overall process of creating a web project 
  • Know the ins and outs of CMSs. You don’t have to be familiar with Umbraco, but you have to know about CMSs and have experience from this field.
